Message on PEACE

While others are fostering Terrorism.
Let no Terror live withn us by being discouraged  to share to those
who are in need.

While we try to help our brothers in need in our own personal way, accepting refugees is our BIGGER and WIDER HEART as nation.

Though violence is happening everywhere, from Paris incident,
a different level of energy has emerged.

Love has no Fear. Love is un-conditional.

I thank everyone who asked me about what Reiki is. This pushed me to explain more about Reiki.

Reiki has been re-discovered and taught by Mikao Usui, a Buddhist monk in Japan from  1922 up to the time of his death in 1926.

In 1922, during Usui’s retreat in Mount Kurama, he had experience “satori” a spiritual enlightenment that paved way for him to develop and teach reiki to everyone who is seeking enlightenment and healing. He travelling around Japan to heal and teach reiki.  Upon his death, he left 15 teachers who propagated Reiki around Japan, including a western educated doctor, Chijuro Hayashi.
Chijuro Hayashi later taught Hawayo Takata, a Hawaian-Japanese woman living in Hawaii, who cured from her illness from Reiki.  Hawayo Takata was the one who brought Reiki to the western world.  She started to teach reiki in 1970 travelling in Europe, United States and Canada. She died in 1980, leaving 22 reiki masters who worked so hard to make reiki available around the world.

There are now, around 1 million reiki practitioners and about 10,000 reiki teachers around the world with many different branches started from the original lineage which is USUI Reiki Natural Healing Method of Healing. Reiki practiced in different setting: private, public, and even hospital settings.
In my own experience, I learned reiki in 2004 and started to teach in 2007 up to the present.

Many people know reiki as a tool for healing, when actually the healing part is just one of the result or gift of what Reiki can do. Pronounced as rei (ray) – ki (ki), rei means spiritual and ki means energy.  Therefore, Reiki means spiritual energy.

Reiki is a practice of Mindful Living thru the Precepts, Meditation, Self-Healing and Healing Others.
The Mindful Living is in the Reiki Principles. There are many version of this but I shall write here the affirmations.

Just for today, I am peace
                Just for today, I trust.
Just for today, I work hard.
Just for today, I am grateful.
Just for today, I am kindness, I am LOVE.

Reiki encourages meditation through different techniques, starting from Gassho, Rei-hi-jo and Hat-su-rei-ho. Reiki is not bounded by any forms, any techniques of meditation can be integrated with reiki, as this is an attunement to the Highest Divine Energy, the Divine God.

Healing with Reiki is a gift of Reiki. When someone receives a reiki attunement, the soul longs for
purification and perfection.  Self-healing comes a  tool for this process of enlightenment. One never stops healing oneself forever. A person goes into different level of soul development as one continues to heal.

When a person receives the benefits of reiki, the gift of sharing reiki to others through healing comes.

Anyone can learn Reiki. There is no age limit as long as a child can be guided by parents who are also reiki practitioners. My youngest student is 13 years old. Reiki is taught by reiki teachers who give attunements for one to practice.

The first stage of learning reiki is being attuned to Reiki First Degree.

Reiki First Degree is about learning to connect and love ourselves.  Here, we are taught how to heal ourselves and the practice goes to our first 21 days of Self-Healing.  We can also heal others if we are ready. This level focuses on healing the physical body.

After practicing reiki on oneself, one can study further by going into the Reiki Second Degree.  During the Reiki Second Degree, one is taught how to heal beyond the physical body by healing mental, emotional and spiritual level and also doing healing in a distance.  This level is our further step in understanding the multi-dimensional aspect of our being and the reality.

The next and last level is Reiki Third Degree. This is for the students who wanted to be a teacher. This is usually an apprenticeship process.  Other teachers teach this in just a weekend.  Whatever the process maybe, one will always be directed by the inner voice which way to choose. Learning never stops. One can always learn from different teachers.

There are other reiki courses that many teachers can offer. I never stop learning. J

Reiki is a tool of living. One will never know the benefits unless practiced. It is not only for healing our multi-dimensional body but also developing practical matters in life like finances, career, relationship, bless the food, house, and many others.

Reiki is a gift of life. It knows no boundaries of culture nor religion.

Reiki is a gift to all. We just need to take hold of the gift.

When a s student is ready, the teacher will appear.

Reiki Blessings!

Today, I was notified by fellow Reiki Master-Teacher, Sarah Salcedo- Rubin of the newly attuned Reiki III Degree graduates . She called the graduates, “my grandbabies”. I am honored and lift the highest honor to the Divine God, who called us to serve.  Like Sarah who feels exhilirated, I, too feel the same.

Our Jouney To Be A Reiki Master-Teacher is A Path To Higher Service

Our Reiki life is journey. It is a calling to heal and serve.

In our Reiki First Degree life, we are taught how to heal ourselves. Healing ourselves is our first
lesson.  To heal ourselves is to learn humility. I remember that I was really proud when I was a first degree student. I was a bit curious what else can I learn, when I was already a psychic and also healing with my hands.  However,  healing myself humbled me to learn from others and my teacher. I learned to accept that I am not perfect and I need healing all throughout my life as I go on healing others.

We never stop healing ourselves, the first 21 days is just our practice for a lifetime commitment to heal and cleanse ourselves.” In every stage of our lives, we heal every aspect of our beings – physical, emotional, and spiritual. We also heal different issues on family, relationships, money, career, and even past life experiences.

Our Reiki Second Degree experiences teach us to understand that healing has no border. We are in a  multi-dimensional reality and have no boundaries. We are a multi-dimensional being with different bodies - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Our healing is not bounded by physical borders.

I got excited about healing in a distance and I know all Second Degree Reiki felt the same.  In this level, I started to feel the need to heal every aspect of my life.  In this same life journey, I also dealt with my major karma and learned my lessons. With Reiki, I was able to go through all of them with the acceptance of pain and jubilation.

I have always wanted to serve the world, and becoming a Reiki Master is the means by which I realized this dream. In November, 2006, I met my  Reiki Master-Teachers just about the time that I was asking God to send them to me. I was attuned to be a Reiki Master in 2007 by RMTs Gie and Malou Cordero (both attuned in London by Sandra Straw) and this lifted my service into a higher level of commitment. I committed myself to the service of healing and teaching. I bow my head to my great teachers, RMTs Jo Bilasano, Gi and Margie Santos, and Gie and Malou Cordero.

My fulltime life as Reiki Teacher has expanded my horizon of healing to include my becoming an Angel Healing-Teacher, and an Earth Intuitive Teacher.  How I always love to see Reiki practitioners lifting their service to become teachers. So many teachers are needed. Different forms of healing are needed.

Our Path of Service

Our path of service as a Reiki practitioner opens us to a lot of blessings, it opens doors towards a fulfilling life.  When asked by students, if it is okay to study other energy healing modalities aside from reiki, my answer is “one can study anything as long as the learning makes one a better person”. Reiki is a door and is only one of many gifts of healing from God.

While practicing Reiki, we all will be confronted by the blocks that we have in our psyche. There are four steps that we can do to address our blocks. First step is to examine oneself by answering the following questions:

            1.  When you studied Reiki, what did you intent to do? How did you plan to use it?
2.  What is your vision of yourself as a reiki practitioner?
3.  How do you see yourself contributing to change the world for a better humanity?
4.  How do you see yourself contributing to the Lightwork?

All the answers that we have in the above query are our aspirations and the visions of ourselves. These visions and aspirations started when we were young and developed as we grew up. Some of us still have this vision; others have dropped them on their search to survive.

The Second Step is to do a SELF-Talk. Follow the column below. In the first column, write the vision as a Reiki practitioner; in the second column, write all the encouraging affirmations or words that inspire you to pursue the vision; and lastly, on the third column, write all the blocking thoughts to pursue the dream.

(What inspire me to do this?
/ What inspire me to practice Reiki)
(What blocks me from doing what I want? Or pursuing what I want?/  What blocks me from practicing Reiki on myself and others? Or practicing publicly.)
I want to …………………

Ex. It’s timely.
       I have the talent.
       I have the support
Ex. My family won’t approve.
       I might not do it

The third column, ME-2 is our EGO. The Ego is a part of our personality. It is the force that identifies to ourselves. It is the driving force to make us to do things for ourselves, for our own sake.  Yet, our ego is not our Higher Self. Our Higher Self is a part of our Self related to the Divine plan to a wider consciousness other than Self.

Our EGO plays a bigger role when we try to lead a spiritual path or make a way to our dreamed Reiki career. Our EGO acts as our critic, the one who uses so much logic, and then foster fear. It is always said that the bigger the life purpose is, the more inner critic one can have.

Our EGO’s tactics can manifest in the forms of a fear (fear to come out, fear of failure, etc) ;  addiction whether substance or behavior; delaying behavior or consequences such as – like claiming that one is not prepared, getting busy with  other matters such as personal or other things and setting conditionalities before one sets the foot on.

Some Reiki practitioners may find themselves moving away from fully practicing reiki .  The reason for this is that our EGO has overpowered our Higher Self. Let us be aware of how our EGO works and discard the limiting beliefs.

Our third step is to live with the Reiki Principles.

Our Reiki Principles are a guide of living. We call it Reiki Living. This is our tool to pass through all the EGO talks that we meet on our healing journey.

Just For Today, I will not be angry. I am PEACE!

When our mind is cluttered with all thoughts from our EGO, we can sit or lie down, close our eyes and look for the inner peace that we have in our inner selves. With our eyes closed, we can expand our awareness and look beyond space to find our connection to the Divine Creator, this feeling of Oneness, and this feeling where there is no fear. When we find this feeling with God, we allow our Higher Selves to transform our EGO thoughts and transform them into empowering and spiritual affirmations that know no limitations.

Just for Today, I will not worry. I trust!

When we pray, when we utter our spiritual affirmations, we are allowing the Divine Grace to work for us. We release our fear and attachments to the results. We trust that everything will be alright in our journey.  We can never be rich in our Reiki practice, but all our needs are met and provided. Help, money, and resources come in different ways.

Just for today, I show gratitude. I honor my Parents and Teachers!

Becoming grateful for what we have is our key to success, as there no good or bad things in life. Giving no judgement to things or events but only gratefulness, allows us to walk with light amidst

Second to God, honoring our parents and teachers release us from negative karma. Our parents and teachers may not be perfect in our own eyes but it is from them that we have become what we are today. In many ways, let us honor them. (By the way, Mikao Usui’s birthday was last August 15.)

Just for today, I work hard.

We never stop working on ourselves. We work hard to heal ourselves, to make amends to any wrong-doings, and to study more our life, spirituality and healing.

Let us integrate reiki in our life. Reiki your income, reiki the food, reiki the work, solve problems with reiki, or reiki everything in our lives. Pray, Meditate, and Heal with Reiki.

Just for today, I am kind to all Beings. I am LOVE!

This is the fruit of our work. On our journey, we become LOVE. When we have our challenges here, we go back to the first and second principle.

Our fourth step is claiming who we really are. As Doreen Virtue (Angel Healer and Channel) has said, introduce yourself as the person you want to be known.

On this journey of healing, start to call yourself the healer you want to be. I do now. :-)

So Be It!

This is the moment for me to write on ADHD. I have long been waiting for an inspirational moment to share something on Austim and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).

Recent posts about Autism and ADHD  on Face Book inspired me. They are powerful whispers.  For this  topic, I will  focus first on ADHD.

Defining ADHD

The modern medical world has noticed and described what we termed now as ADHD in 1902. It was originally called " hyperkinetic impulse disorder".  Sir George, a British pediatrician described it as “an abnormal defect of moral control in children”. He noted that some affected children could not control their behavior the way a typical would, but they were still intelligent.

In 1960 the American Psychiatric Association (APA) recognized it as a mental disorder and later, in 1968 was included in the second edition of Manual of Mental Disorder (DSM). The name was changed to ADD (attention-deficit-disorder) in the third edition of DSM (1980) with different sub types (with hyperactivity or without hyperactivity). The last name for the condition (which could or couldn’t be final) is ADHD (attention-deficit-hyperactivity disorder, DSM 1987). It meant to describe the condition with the presence of all or any of the hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattentiveness.

As an energy healer, I describe any of the above symptoms or condition based on the energy system or chakra system. All the behavioral symptoms have their roots on the energy level of a person.   Though I really don’t want to call the condition as a disorder for the sake of reference, I shall still use the word ADHD. For the case on ADHD, the following is the energy description:

*      In an ADHD person, there is an un-grounded and disturbed base energy center (usually gross energy) manifested on the inability to feel the reality or maintain in one position, attention, and general hyperactivity.

*      The sex energy center is under-developed which can be seen in the inability to stay on task.  Since, the base and the sex energy centers are not developed in a balanced way, the solar plexus energy center exudes disturbance (usually gross is felt).

*      Solar plexus is grossed or depleted. When grossed, one has impulsiveness or outburst of emotions.  When depleted, one has a distant or numbed emotion.

*      The heart energy center is underdeveloped which means the person is unable to maintain a healthy relationship or direct contact with others. This is caused by the condition of the solar plexus which relates to imbalanced emotions.

*      Forehead energy center which relates to vision and perception is enhanced or sometimes overstimulated. This is the reason why most of the ADHD are highly intelligent individuals.  There are lots of pictures or visions that are coming into one’s mind that there is a need to for the person to move to balance the overwhelming influx of thoughts.

Albert Einstein is one classic example of a person with ADHD.  Below is the video, that you my watch to see the earier struggle of Albert Einstein as a genius.

Causes of ADHD

Scientist are still trying to identify the cause of ADHD.  Most of the medical known probable causes coincide with the energy diagnosis, only it is seen in a different paradigm:

Known Causes (According to Medical Study)
Energy Cause
1.       Inherited condition
The energy can be imprint within the family. The imprinting can happen before a baby is born or during the development stage after birth.  Babies are sensitive individuals who can easily adopt the energies of the environment. Imprints can be patterns of thoughts, behavior, and emotions.
Hormonal related to the  production of dopamine.
This condition is caused by the overstimulated energy on the forehead energy center.
Toxins and Drugs
Any contradicting food or physical intake causes a reaction on the energy fields. Since children couldn’t express the turmoil happening on the body, they act out the reaction.
Early exposure or too much exposure to television or computer
This causes the over-stimulation of the forehead energy center that will hamper the stable development of the base and sex energy centers. The base energy center will develop gross energy while the sex energy center will be depleted.  This condition, in effect, will result in inattentiveness and hyperactivity.
Poor home life
This manifested in the ungrounded energy of a person, trying to find balance and security, which in this case causes hyperactivity or impulsivity. At other times, poor home life blocks the creative energy of the sex energy center, thereby manifesting as hyperactivity.
Unknown Causes
Gross or imbalanced energy centers since birth

The Challenges

Parents with children who were diagnosed with ADHD are usually distressed on how to handle the condition. What adds to the burden is knowing that the condition is considered a disorder.

Some children are fortunate enough to have supportive parents, but others have parents who treat them different if not delinquent ones. While others landed with another additional modern named  disorder -  “severe defiance.”

From a spiritual perspective, the influx of people or children with ADHD goes with the emerging spiritual awareness and the coming of children with different levels of awareness.  The present new age or spiritual movement calls them to be “indigo” or “crystal” children.

There are emerging spiritual tasks for this development:

  1. To understand the nature of a human being beyond the physical structures which goes to understanding the nature of people with ADHD, their difference in a positive perspective.
  2. To understand human intelligence beyond limits. People with ADH have different way of learning and sometimes extra-ordinary intelligence. They need avenues to develop and show their gifts.
  3. To understand the nature of a soul beyond physical charcteristics.
  4. To give unconditional love.
  5. Cultivation of  Self-worth and self-love
  6. Perseverance

Reiki Healing on ADHD

Nowadays, ADHD is treated with medications to regulate the release of dopamine. It helps but not really cures the condition… and more often it results in dependency on the medication.
I don’t really want to call ADHD a disorder that I would rather call the intervention a way of management. I also tell my clients that ADHD in general could be a gift and that all we need to know is how to handle the condition. Labelling our children with the term “disorder” does not help.  Actually they are “ attention-different-highly directed” individuals or individuals whose “attention are directed to heavenly dimension”.

To start the managing of ADHD, we begin by making the person (if in a right age of comprehension) and/or the parents understand the condition based on the energy diagnosis.  In my experience, even a seven or five year old child can understand the concept of gross energy manifested in hyperactivity and impulsiveness. A child can therefore also understand the concept of managing the energy.

The following energy healing can be undertaken:

Reiki Healing or Using Energy Channeling – Focus on grounding the base energy center; developing the solar plexus and heart energy centers; and balancing the forehead energy center.

Sounds – Listening or playing the drum or bass instrument can ground the energy of the base; a piano or harp can ground the forehead energy center; a flute or metal chimes/bell for the heart energy center; and string instruments for the solar plexus.

Note: Humming or singing the note C or Do for the base; re for the sex energy center; mi for the or the solar plexus; fa for the heart center and la for the forehead energy center.

Color: Use of the colors Blue, Green, white and violet to calm and ground the energy. Red, orange, and yellow can also be used as long as there the individual has no intense emotion

Movements – use legs and hands in a play or exercises.

          Massage -  abdominal massage.

Elements – Connecting to the energy of the earth by walking, running or planting.

Avoid too much exposure high frequency devices as these may disrupt the energy fields.

Healing ADHD is about managing the person’s energy until one can manage on his or her own. The gross energy can be channeled to give birth to a gift of intelligence and creativity.

Managing ADHD is not time bounded; it is a life process.

Below is the video of how the condition can be managed as a gift:

Our generation is now gifted with a new way of looking at a human being.

“We are all being called to attend to the SOUL.   Symptoms are meant to be seen, heard and studied by looking into the soul and not to be suppressed.  Suppressing the symptoms is not healing. All the body may be in the mind, but the mind has apparently expanded into the universe. “

Love and Lights!

On Cancer, Healing, and Dying

This might seem odd for me, but honestly Liezel Martinez’ death inspired me to share inner insights. I found myself reading and watching every detail of her illness and death.

There are three things that came to me reflecting upon her life. These are: 1) cancer as a dis-ease, 2) submission to the process of life and 3) moments of death.

Cancer as a Dis-ease

My Mom died of breast cancer complications.  During those times, I could only think of the physical cause - my Mom had a silicon breast implant during the 60’s.  Now that I am a Reiki Practitioner-Teacher, my understanding of cancer has deepened.

There are many causes of cancer that are beyond the known physical ones.  I have seen clients who were health buffs, vegetarian and non-vegetarian, who had cancer.  This shows that the cause of cancer is beyond the composition of the body. Like any other dis-ease, the manifestation on the body comes from the energy level.

In the history of human and earth evolution, cancer started during the Atlantean times and can be called a race disease. During the Atlantean time, the human race (which was different from nowadays) suffered from this dis-ease caused by suppressed emotions. During those times, mental mind advanced and emotions were suppressed so as not to make the same mistakes of the previous human race. In our present times, some who had contracted cancer had a previous life time from this Atlantean Race.

Starting from inhibition at Atlantean time, others had cancer from previous past life incarnations and are just re-living the same patterns of illness in the present time. However, whatever past life that one can have, what is important is how a person lives in a present moment.

Breast cancer is related to the heart chakra (energy center).  The heart chakra is related to many aspects of relationships – loving, giving, receiving, and forgiving. Any imbalances on these aspects of relationship can cause dis-ease on the chakra.

Most of the saints and mystics usually die from imbalances on heart chakra (which we often called as one of mystic dis-ease) manifested as heart or lung problems but not breast cancer.  The reason for this is because the imbalance on the heart chakra comes from their acceptance of suffering for a higher spiritual purpose, while having breast cancer is coming from inhibition of emotions for personal purpose.

Whether the cancer is on the lungs, breast or any part of the body, cancer comes from within, as it is an astral dis-ease beyond the physical body. Healing of cancer comes from a deep spiritual healing that manifests as a cure in the physical body. However, it doesn’t mean that when a person did not get a cure  means he/she did not have spiritual healing. They may have had a spiritual healing in their dying.

2.  Submission To The Process of Life

Image result for image of beautiful dying transition

Some of the people who have cancer had submitted themselves to the process of life. Though they hope for a cure, the other side of the coin is that they are also preparing themselves to die. When cancer patients ask me what shall they do, I always tell them “be happy, and live your life to the fullest.” In reality, striving to live is also the same way as preparing ourselves to die. In a holistic context, one should be just be happy and live the life to the fullest. Living life to the fullest doesn’t mean abusing or doing and eating things that are harmful to the body, but rather living in a holistic way.

Liezel Martinez is an epitome of submission to life, a beautiful act of life. Let me quote some of her words “Every day is like a celebration, wow, thank God I have another day” and “but walang guarantee yun na di sya babalik.” Like the film “The Bucket List”, she also had fulfilled most of her bucket list. Even her illness and death is not focused on pain but rather on her courage and a peaceful transition. Most of people who had submitted to the process of life had accepted the physical pain and surrendered to dying peacefully.

3) Moments of Death

Liezel Martinez’s death happened 13 days before her birthday. This is the case of most people. They die before their birthdays.

We have Seven Cycles of life. A year can also be divided in a seven cycle starting from our birthday. Fifty-five days before our birthday is our phase of transition. In this phase of transition our energy level is usually low. I remember myself usually getting sick before my birthday until I learned my antidote for this period.  The reason for the low energy during this period is for us to slow down and prepare ourselves for a new beginning and a new leap of energy which begins on our birthday. However, for some people the new beginning is not on this earth but on the other side.

God is so compassionate to prepare everyone for the physical death. According to Albert Martinez, Liezel was so beautiful when she died. I believe and I could see the vivid image of this.

Days or hours before a physical death, Solar Angels come to prepare the physical body. They shower the dying body with golden light to prepare channels for the separation of the soul to physical body. In effect, the energy body or what we called the etheric body vibrates in a higher frequency giving a boost of glow and strength to the physical body.  This is the reason why there is sudden new regained strength and joy of a person before the actual death. Some people awaken to speak their last message. Others appear to be glowing and vibrant.

Dying is as wonderful an experience as being born on earth.  As I have written earlier, to strive to live happily is also the way to prepare to die peacefully.

What we call a terminal illness is just our name for a lesson of life towards a transition either here on Earth or to go to the other side.
