TIPS ON BECOMING A FULLTIME REIKI PRACTITIONER

Welcome to Cosmic Answers!

Today, we're tackling a big question: How can one be a full-time Reiki healer? This is a complex topic with no definitive answers, but I'll share insights from my 20 years as a Reiki healer, including 17 years as a full-time teacher.

Your Key Points to Consider:

First, understanding the calling: Not everyone has the calling to practice Reiki healing full-time. While everyone can practice Reiki, transitioning to a full-time healer is a calling. This calling often feels like a Divine invitation to dedicate your life to this work

Second, ponder on career considerations: If you approach Reiki sole as a career, you may find yourself returning to traditional employment. Many people experience this limbo, realizing that their true calling is not necessarily tied to being a full-time Reiki practitioner.

Third, Balance your Reiki practice with your Day job:  It is perfectly okay to practice Reiki alongside your day job. The desire to be a Reiki practitioner doesn't always mean you have to be full-time. The calling to full-time practice is distinct and often more profound.

Explore the Tips on This Journey:

Now, let's explore some tips to help you on this journey:

1.  Prayer and Reflection: Pray and Talk to God about your desire to heall. Ask for blessings and guidance. For example, I prayed, "God, I want to heal as my service to you. If full-time healing is my calling, please bless me and pave the way." If this is your calling, you'll be amazed at how clients will start to come to you.

2.  Look for Signs: Pay attention to signs such as an increasing number of clients, new opportunities to heal, and venues opening up as healing spaces. A burning desire to help people, no matter what, is also a strong indicator.

3.  Mission Over Work:  Full-time healing feels more like a mission than a job. You must be ready to heal with or without financial compensation. You are open to healing rich or poor. This is because you trust that God will provide for your needs in many forms and ways. This sense of higher purpose is crucial

4.  Prepare for Tests:  Challenges, especially financial ones, will test your commitment. During these times, reaffirm your dedication. For instance, I faced financial difficulties and considered returning to work. I prayed, "God, I want to serve you through healing, but I need to provide for my family." Miraculously, clients always came, reinforcing my path as a healer.

5.  Apply Spiritual Business Principles:  Many are unaware that spiritual business principles can be applied to Reiki practice until they encounter frameworks like the Strategic Synchronicity Attraction Plan, which I teach in my Reiki Professional Training. These principles help promote your work and establish a fair energy exchange. The goal isn't to maximize profit but to make your services known and sustainable, allowing you to continue serving others. By valuing your work and ensuring it's recognized, you can create a balanced and thriving practice that benefits both you and those you help.

6.  Be prepared for Interruptions:  If your goal is to make Reiki your full-time mission, be ready for some interruptions along the way. Initially, you might need to take on additional work outside of Reiki to support your studies or personal needs. This supplementary work can help sustain you as you build your healing practice. Over time, as your Reiki practice grows and expands, you'll find that you can gradually let go of these extra jobs and focus entirely on your mission. Being flexible and adaptable in the early stages is crucial to achieving long-term success.

7.  Renew Your Goals: Continuously nurture your personal goals and your mission to serve through healing. Like a plant, this commitment needs regular care and attention. Keep healing yourself and deepening your dedication.

8.  Always Talk To God:  Remember, God is your ultimate employer. Engage in daily, even moment-to-moment, communication with God. Share your concerns, worries, fears, and needs. Trust that God will guide and support you through various events and the people around you. This constant dialogue with the divine will help you stay grounded, focused, and aligned with your mission as a Reiki healer.

9.  Be open To Receiving:  Just as you open yourself to giving, also be open to receiving. Accept any offerings that might help you in your practice or meet your needs. Remember, God often provides through the generosity of others, sending "Human Angels" to support you on your path. Embrace these gifts with gratitude, recognizing them as part of the divine provision that enables you to continue your healing work.

10.  Acceptance and Balance: If full-time Reiki practice isn't for you, that's okay. You can still design a fulfilling life with a day job while helping others through healing. Acceptance is key to finding your unique path.

Remember, becoming a full-time Reiki healer is a journey of faith, dedication, and self-discovery. Whether you practice part-time or full-time, your contribution to healing is invaluable.

STEP TWO: RELEASE AND LET GO TO START YOUR YEAR

“Don’t put a newly cooked rice at the top of your spoiled one.”

Or else, you are shall be eating spoiled food. The next step in preparing ourselves for a new action is to release any spoiled parts of ourselves. If you haven’t read Step One, please read first the first step at this link:

STEP ONE: SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

Many people jump into visioning and making plans and actions without releasing first what can block along the way. After we have sat down and sought God within us, the next step is to heal ourselves to release anything thought and emotions that can block us along the way. Unhealed emotions and negative thoughts comprise our vibrations and vibrations are necessary for manifestation.

How can these blocks affect us?

Any actions come from emotions and thoughts. Therefore, unwanted and unhealthy thoughts and actions can lead us into 1) repeating the same patterns of actions and results that lead us to stagnant progress and 2) pessimism and fear that can freeze our actions for progress in life.

Failure to address these blocks, in the long run, can lead us into the following:

  1. Regression or retardation of spiritual growth
  2. Unrest of mind and confusion
  3. Inability to connect to ones’ Higher Self or Mind
  4. Attracting negative people or experiences.
  5. Confusion about life and events
  6. Addiction to past experiences.
  7. Self-destruction
  8. Hopelessness

To address the block and move smoothly in life, we may do the following actions:

Action 1: Check on your chakras through the following questions: (For those who do not know chakras, chakras also called energy centers contain our thoughts and emotions.)

Go into a meditative state. Start with a prayer. Then ask the following questions while putting your hands on each chakra. Be mindful of your intuitive answer. If you are a Reiki practitioner, then you can invoke Reiki on this exercise or invoke the angels for each chakra.

       a)  Do I feel alone in life?

      b)      Do I feel that life is so hard?

     b)      Do I have deep faith and trust in God?

Action 2:  After your reflection, then we now start to let go with healing and affirmations. (Note that recognition and acceptance of what blocks us start the healing process. So, many lightworkers hesitate to look and examine their past for fear of being stuck on it. This is a wrong interpretation. We all can live in the present and move to the future when we revisit the past with acceptance and forgiveness. There is a pre-requisite to saying “Forget the past and move on. The important requirement is that one has already been friends with the past so that they can close or forget peacefully.)

  1. Put your hands in the praying position and say,  "Through the Power of my God‐Mind, I release past negativity and release my mind – God-directed – into a positive future."
  2. Say the affirmation, doing the hand positions in each chakra. Feel the energy of the affirmations.

Go into a meditative state. Start with a prayer. Then ask the following questions while putting your hands on each chakra. Be mindful of your intuitive answer. If you are a Reiki practitioner, then you can invoke Reiki on this exercise or invoke the angels for each chakra.

Action 3:  End with gratitude. Gratitude can take into many forms. It can be a prayer, a song, or an offering.

Now you are ready for the last action which is empowering the vision and action.

Hold on for the Step 3:

Blessings,

 Aisa

TAKING OUR REIKI PRACTICE TO A HIGHER LEVEL

Today, I was notified by fellow Reiki Master-Teacher, Sarah Salcedo- Rubin of the newly attuned Reiki III Degree graduates . She called the graduates, “my grandbabies”. I am honored and lift the highest honor to the Divine God, who called us to serve.  Like Sarah who feels exhilirated, I, too feel the same.

Our Jouney To Be A Reiki Master-Teacher is A Path To Higher Service

Our Reiki life is journey. It is a calling to heal and serve.

In our Reiki First Degree life, we are taught how to heal ourselves. Healing ourselves is our first
lesson.  To heal ourselves is to learn humility. I remember that I was really proud when I was a first degree student. I was a bit curious what else can I learn, when I was already a psychic and also healing with my hands.  However,  healing myself humbled me to learn from others and my teacher. I learned to accept that I am not perfect and I need healing all throughout my life as I go on healing others.

We never stop healing ourselves, the first 21 days is just our practice for a lifetime commitment to heal and cleanse ourselves.” In every stage of our lives, we heal every aspect of our beings – physical, emotional, and spiritual. We also heal different issues on family, relationships, money, career, and even past life experiences.

Our Reiki Second Degree experiences teach us to understand that healing has no border. We are in a  multi-dimensional reality and have no boundaries. We are a multi-dimensional being with different bodies - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Our healing is not bounded by physical borders.

I got excited about healing in a distance and I know all Second Degree Reiki felt the same.  In this level, I started to feel the need to heal every aspect of my life.  In this same life journey, I also dealt with my major karma and learned my lessons. With Reiki, I was able to go through all of them with the acceptance of pain and jubilation.

I have always wanted to serve the world, and becoming a Reiki Master is the means by which I realized this dream. In November, 2006, I met my  Reiki Master-Teachers just about the time that I was asking God to send them to me. I was attuned to be a Reiki Master in 2007 by RMTs Gie and Malou Cordero (both attuned in London by Sandra Straw) and this lifted my service into a higher level of commitment. I committed myself to the service of healing and teaching. I bow my head to my great teachers, RMTs Jo Bilasano, Gi and Margie Santos, and Gie and Malou Cordero.

My fulltime life as Reiki Teacher has expanded my horizon of healing to include my becoming an Angel Healing-Teacher, and an Earth Intuitive Teacher.  How I always love to see Reiki practitioners lifting their service to become teachers. So many teachers are needed. Different forms of healing are needed.

Our Path of Service

Our path of service as a Reiki practitioner opens us to a lot of blessings, it opens doors towards a fulfilling life.  When asked by students, if it is okay to study other energy healing modalities aside from reiki, my answer is “one can study anything as long as the learning makes one a better person”. Reiki is a door and is only one of many gifts of healing from God.

While practicing Reiki, we all will be confronted by the blocks that we have in our psyche. There are four steps that we can do to address our blocks. First step is to examine oneself by answering the following questions:

            1.  When you studied Reiki, what did you intent to do? How did you plan to use it?
2.  What is your vision of yourself as a reiki practitioner?
3.  How do you see yourself contributing to change the world for a better humanity?
4.  How do you see yourself contributing to the Lightwork?

All the answers that we have in the above query are our aspirations and the visions of ourselves. These visions and aspirations started when we were young and developed as we grew up. Some of us still have this vision; others have dropped them on their search to survive.

The Second Step is to do a SELF-Talk. Follow the column below. In the first column, write the vision as a Reiki practitioner; in the second column, write all the encouraging affirmations or words that inspire you to pursue the vision; and lastly, on the third column, write all the blocking thoughts to pursue the dream.

VISION
ME-1
(What inspire me to do this?
/ What inspire me to practice Reiki)
ME-2
(What blocks me from doing what I want? Or pursuing what I want?/  What blocks me from practicing Reiki on myself and others? Or practicing publicly.)
I want to …………………

Ex. It’s timely.
       I have the talent.
       I have the support
Ex. My family won’t approve.
       I might not do it
perfectly.

The third column, ME-2 is our EGO. The Ego is a part of our personality. It is the force that identifies to ourselves. It is the driving force to make us to do things for ourselves, for our own sake.  Yet, our ego is not our Higher Self. Our Higher Self is a part of our Self related to the Divine plan to a wider consciousness other than Self.

Our EGO plays a bigger role when we try to lead a spiritual path or make a way to our dreamed Reiki career. Our EGO acts as our critic, the one who uses so much logic, and then foster fear. It is always said that the bigger the life purpose is, the more inner critic one can have.

Our EGO’s tactics can manifest in the forms of a fear (fear to come out, fear of failure, etc) ;  addiction whether substance or behavior; delaying behavior or consequences such as – like claiming that one is not prepared, getting busy with  other matters such as personal or other things and setting conditionalities before one sets the foot on.

Some Reiki practitioners may find themselves moving away from fully practicing reiki .  The reason for this is that our EGO has overpowered our Higher Self. Let us be aware of how our EGO works and discard the limiting beliefs.

Our third step is to live with the Reiki Principles.

Our Reiki Principles are a guide of living. We call it Reiki Living. This is our tool to pass through all the EGO talks that we meet on our healing journey.

Just For Today, I will not be angry. I am PEACE!

When our mind is cluttered with all thoughts from our EGO, we can sit or lie down, close our eyes and look for the inner peace that we have in our inner selves. With our eyes closed, we can expand our awareness and look beyond space to find our connection to the Divine Creator, this feeling of Oneness, and this feeling where there is no fear. When we find this feeling with God, we allow our Higher Selves to transform our EGO thoughts and transform them into empowering and spiritual affirmations that know no limitations.

Just for Today, I will not worry. I trust!

When we pray, when we utter our spiritual affirmations, we are allowing the Divine Grace to work for us. We release our fear and attachments to the results. We trust that everything will be alright in our journey.  We can never be rich in our Reiki practice, but all our needs are met and provided. Help, money, and resources come in different ways.

Just for today, I show gratitude. I honor my Parents and Teachers!

Becoming grateful for what we have is our key to success, as there no good or bad things in life. Giving no judgement to things or events but only gratefulness, allows us to walk with light amidst
darkness.

Second to God, honoring our parents and teachers release us from negative karma. Our parents and teachers may not be perfect in our own eyes but it is from them that we have become what we are today. In many ways, let us honor them. (By the way, Mikao Usui’s birthday was last August 15.)

Just for today, I work hard.

We never stop working on ourselves. We work hard to heal ourselves, to make amends to any wrong-doings, and to study more our life, spirituality and healing.

Let us integrate reiki in our life. Reiki your income, reiki the food, reiki the work, solve problems with reiki, or reiki everything in our lives. Pray, Meditate, and Heal with Reiki.

Just for today, I am kind to all Beings. I am LOVE!

This is the fruit of our work. On our journey, we become LOVE. When we have our challenges here, we go back to the first and second principle.

 AMEN

Our fourth step is claiming who we really are. As Doreen Virtue (Angel Healer and Channel) has said, introduce yourself as the person you want to be known.

On this journey of healing, start to call yourself the healer you want to be. I do now. :-)

I AM REIKI PRACTITIONER-TEACHER!
I AM AN ANGEL HEALING TEACHER!
I AM AN EARTH INTUITIVE!

So Be It!
